The Project Nicaragua organization ran a highly successful fund raiser in June 2007. Thanks to the generousity of all who attended, OLQM's Project Nicaragua can continue to provide essential humanitarian services such as; building more than 20 homes in 2007, creating a medical fund, and even a clean water project. What started as a local parish event has grown to include guests from as far away as Virginia, Florida, and several other states.
This year's event was at a local catering hall, The Thatched Cottage. The food was delicious and the DJ kept everyone on their feet dancing the night away. The evening was both a financial success and a night to remember. Everyone who attended left with smiles and compliments for the incredible job and hard work of our planning committee & volunteers.
